トランプ大統領 “関税措置めぐる交渉 最初の合意はイギリス”

アメリカのトランプ大統領は関税措置をめぐる各国などとの交渉について8日、イギリスと合意する予定だと明らかにしました。各国と進める交渉が合意にいたるのは初めてで、どのような内容となるかに関心が高まっています。

トランプ大統領は関税措置をめぐる各国などとの交渉について、SNSに、8日の午前10時、日本時間の8日午後11時に大統領執務室で記者会見を行いイギリスとの合意について発表すると明らかにしました。

トランプ大統領は「アメリカとイギリスにとって、大きく、興奮する1日となるだろう。最初に発表する国としてイギリスを迎えられることは、大変光栄なことだ」と投稿しました。

また、合意内容については「両国関係を今後何年にもわたり強化する、完全で包括的なものだ」としています。

トランプ政権は、日本を含む各国などとの間で関税の引き下げを交渉材料に、貿易赤字の削減に向けた取り組みなどを求める交渉を進めているだけに、初の合意となるイギリスとの合意がどのような内容なのかに関心が高まっています。

トランプ大統領は「現在、交渉段階にあるほかの合意についてもこれに続く」と投稿していて、イギリス以外の国とも今後合意に達する見通しを示しています。
