金町駅北口の新街区「クロス金町I期」竣工 商業「MARK IS」や教習所
東金町一丁目西地区市街地再開発組合、および参加組合員の三菱地所、三菱地所レジデンス、三井不動産レジデンシャルは、JR金町駅北口で開発を進める新街区「クロス金町」のI期部分が、7月14日をもって竣工したと発表した。「金町自動車教習所」「東金町地下自転車駐車場」が8月1日、商業施設「MARK IS 葛飾かなまち」が9月3日にオープンする。

「東金町一丁目西地区市街地再開発事業」として進められているプロジェクトで、所在地は東京都葛飾区東金町一丁目3700番(地番)。敷地面積は約24,755m2、建築延面積は約159,310m2。I期部分の規模は地上5階・地下1階建て、高さ約28m。
MARK IS 葛飾かなまちにはアパレル・生活必需品や、生鮮・スイーツ等のグルメ店舗など、50店舗が出店する。II期開発を含んだ全体の店舗面積の約7割に当たる。
金町自動車教習所は1973年に日本で初めて、商業施設(旧イトーヨーカドー金町店)屋上に開設された指定自動車教習所。クロス金町でも、商業施設屋上に再オープンする。なおMARK ISには、イトーヨーカドーの食品スーパー「ヨークフーズ」が出店する。
自転車駐車場は地下1階に整備。定期利用約1,200台、一時利用約200台の収容に対応する。営業時間はJR金町駅の始発30分前～終電30分後、料金は一時利用が100円/日、定期利用が1,700円/月、4,200円/3カ月。
クロス金町では今後、地上4階建て、高さ約28mの商業棟、地上40階建て、高さ約150mの住宅棟の開発が、2030年11月の竣工に向けて進められる。
