石川 大型連休で多くのボランティア見込み “遠慮せず依頼を”
能登半島地震の被災地では、27日からの大型連休に合わせて多くのボランティアが訪れると見込まれ、石川県は被災者に対し遠慮せず作業を依頼してほしいと呼びかけています。ボランティアに対しては、休憩や水分補給をこまめに行い体調管理への注意を呼びかけています。
石川県によりますと、能登半島地震の被災地では、これまでに延べ7万人余りの災害ボランティアが活動し、廃棄物の片づけや物資の運搬、避難所の支援などに当たりました。
27日からの大型連休中は、各地から多くのボランティアが訪れると見込まれ、県は被災者に対し、片づけなどを効率的に進めるためにも遠慮せず作業を依頼するよう呼びかけています。
市や町の窓口のほか、2次避難所となっている宿泊施設などで依頼の方法を掲載したチラシを配布しているということです。
一方、活動に当たるボランティアに対しては、場所によっては断水が続きトイレの利用が制限されていることなど、事前に現地の状況をよく確認したうえで参加するよう求めています。
また、大型連休中は気温が25度近くまで上がる日もあると予想されていることから、休憩や水分補給をこまめに行って体調管理に注意するよう呼びかけています。
連休中 被災地に向かう大学生は
27日からの大型連休の期間中、ことし1月に起きた能登半島地震の被災地に向かうボランティアの大学生もいます。
都内の大学では被災地の現状や被災者と接する際の注意点などに関する説明会が開かれました。
東京 八王子にある中央大学では、能登半島地震の被災地に有志の学生を募って災害ボランティアを派遣する取り組みを行っていて、大型連休期間中も5月1日から3日までの間、石川県能登町に派遣します。
26日は参加する学生を対象にオンラインを交えた説明会が開かれ担当者が
▽ボランティアを行う地区は水道が先週、復旧したばかりであることや
▽被災者と話す際は、無理に何かを聞くのではなく相手が話したいタイミングを待つ方がよいことなどを説明していました。
大学によりますと、大型連休中の活動には78人の申し込みがありましたが、安全面を考慮して16人に絞り込んだということです。
参加を予定している大学2年の女子学生は「被災地のことは人伝いに聞いていたが、自分の足で直接訪れて今できることをしたいと考えて応募しました。少しでも現地の人を笑顔にできるように力になってきたいと思います」と話していました。
また、大学3年の男子学生は「去年、金沢に住んでいる友人を訪ねて、ことしは輪島に行く約束をしていましたが行けませんでした。現地の人がなるべく楽になるように力仕事を頑張りたい」と話していました。
