5月1日、トヨタの北米法人は、新しい「カムリ」を発表した。
2026年型カムリの注目点は、「ナイトシェードエディション」のアップデートだ。足まわりには5スポークの19インチアルミホイール（ブラック）を履く。
さらに、フロントグリル、ドアハンドル、サイドミラー、リヤスポイラーなどはブラックとし、エクステリアを引き締める。
ボディカラーは、「アイスキャップ」と呼ぶホワイト、鮮やかな「スーパーソニックレッド」、「ミッドナイトブラックメタリック」の3色を用意。
ナイトシェードエディションが搭載するパワートレインは、2.5リッター直列4気筒ガソリンエンジンとモーターを組み合わせたハイブリッドシステムだ。
そのほかのグレードでは、「ダークコスモス」と呼ぶブルー系の新色が追加された。
2026年型カムリの価格などは今後明かされる。
