Androidのマイナンバーカード、26年秋開始 本人確認もスマホ完結
デジタル庁は19日、2026年秋頃に「Androidスマホ用電子証明書搭載サービス」を刷新し、「Androidのマイナンバーカード」として提供開始すると発表した。iPhoneでは25年6月から本人確認や年連確認ができる機能(属性証明機能)を備えた「iPhoneのマイナンバーカード」を開始しているが、Androidでも26年秋以降から対応する。

Androidスマートフォン向けには、2023年5月に「スマホ用電子証明書搭載サービス」を開始。マイナンバーカードの電子証明書をAndroid端末に搭載し、医療機関での受診時にマイナ保険証として利用できるほか、行政手続、ウェブサービス等でのログイン・署名に利用できる。Androidのマイナンバーカードでは、ここに本人確認と年齢確認ができる機能(属性証明機能)をAndroid端末(ウォレットアプリ)に追加する。
属性証明機能を追加することで、金融機関での口座開設や、携帯電話の契約、オンラインや店舗での本人確認・年齢確認などのシーンにおいて、実物のマイナンバーカードを提示する必要なく、生体認証で簡単に本人確認を受けられるようになる。この機能追加に併せて、サービス名を「Androidのマイナンバーカード」に変更する。
すでに、Androidで「スマホ用電子証明書搭載サービス」を利用している場合、26年秋頃以降に「Androidのマイナンバーカード」に更新できる。
Androidのマイナンバーカードの実現では、Googleと協力。プライバシーとセキュリティを最優先に設計し、Androidのセキュリティ基盤の保護に加え、自身についてどのデータを開示するか否かをユーザー自身が確認し、管理できるようにしながら、マイナンバーカードの機能をAndroidで完結できるようにする。
