米 バンス副大統領 “ウクライナにトマホーク供与検討”
アメリカのバンス副大統領は、ウクライナに対してロシア領内への長距離攻撃を行うことが可能な巡航ミサイル「トマホーク」の供与を検討していると明らかにしました。トマホークの射程は1600キロと首都モスクワも収めるため供与されれば、緊張が高まることも予想され、トランプ大統領の判断が注目されています。
アメリカのバンス副大統領は28日、FOXニュースのインタビューでウクライナに対してロシア領内への長距離攻撃が可能な巡航ミサイル「トマホーク」を供与するかについて、「検討中だ。ヨーロッパ側からの複数の要請も確かに検討している」と述べ、ヨーロッパ諸国を通しての供与を検討していることを明らかにしました。
その上で、「大統領の最終決定は、アメリカの国益にかなうかどうかに基づく。今もまさに協議が行われていることを承知している」と説明しました。
これまで、アメリカは射程が300キロほどのミサイルATACMSについてはロシア領内への攻撃のために使用を許可しているとされてきましたが、トマホークの射程は、1600キロとロシアの首都モスクワを収めることになります。
和平や停戦の協議に応じないロシアへの圧力を高めるねらいもあるとみられますが、アメリカが供与を行えば、欧米とロシアとの間で緊張が高まることも予想され、トランプ大統領の判断が注目されています。
