携帯大手 サービス強化しつつ 基本料金値上げの動き相次ぐ
携帯大手の間では、通信サービスを維持するための電気代などのコストが増えていることから、サービスを強化しつつ基本料金を値上げする動きが相次いでいます。
このうちKDDIは、先月からauの主な料金プランについて、新たに衛星を使ったデータ通信などのサービスを加えたうえで、月額で税込み220円から330円の値上げを行いました。
また、auとは別に展開する「UQモバイル」についても、ことし11月から使用できるデータ量を引き上げたうえで、月額で税込み110円から220円値上げすることにしています。
さらにNTTドコモは、ことし6月からスポーツ動画配信サービスを視聴できるサービスをつけて、主な料金プランを月額で税込み1100円ほど引き上げました。
一方、ソフトバンクと楽天モバイルは、いまのところ主な料金プランを変更する予定はないとしています。
携帯料金をめぐっては、政府の要請をきっかけに引き下げの動きが相次ぎましたが、このところ通信サービスを維持するための電気代や基地局の維持管理などのコストが増えているということです。
「MM総研」の横田英明副所長は「事業者にとってはコストが上がっているため値上げしたいという思いがある。日本の携帯料金は世界的に見ても安いため、今後も上昇傾向が続くだろう」と話しています。
