BOOX、7型カラー電子ペーパーのAndroidタブ「GoColor7 Gen2」
SKTは、ONYX Internatinal製でモノクロディスプレイ搭載の「BOOX Go7」を2機種、カラーディスプレイ搭載の「BOOX GoColor7 Gen2」1機種を順次発売する。価格はオープンプライスで、店頭予想価格は、Go7が39,800円前後、GoColor7 Gen2が44,800円前後の見込み。

Go7シリーズは、読書向け機能を多数搭載した電子ペーパー搭載Androidタブレット。7型300ppiの高精細ディスプレイを搭載し、漫画などの固定レイアウト作品にも最適とする。
また、物理ボタンとして搭載する音量ボタンをページめくりに割り当てることで、スワイプ操作なしでも利用でき、疲れにくい。Google Playストアに対応し、KindleやSony Readerなど電子書籍アプリを自由にインストール可能。microSDカードにより保存容量の拡張もできる。
新たに別売の「InkSenseスタイラス」にも対応し、電子書籍に注釈やマーカーを書き込むことが可能になった。
GoColor7 Gen2は、カラー対応電子ペーパー「Kaleido3」により4,096色の発色に対応。150PPIのカラー表示と300PPIのモノクロ表示により、読書やスケッチなどに最適としている。
Go7(ブラック／ホワイト)は、モノクロ電子ペーパー「Carta1300」を搭載。高コントラストで読みやすさが向上し、300PPIのモノクロ表示で、文字中心の読書に適している。
解像度はいずれも1,680×1,264ピクセル。メモリは4GB LPDDR4X、ストレージは64GB UFS2.2。ライトはCTMフロントライト(暖色と寒色)。無線機能はWi-Fi(802.11b/g/n/ac)、Bluetooth 5.1に対応する。本体サイズは156×137×6.4mm、重量は約195g。
発売日は、「BOOX Go7 ブラック」が5月9日、「BOOX GoColor7 Gen2」が5月後半、「BOOX Go7 ホワイト」が6月を予定。InkSenseスタイラスは5月末発売で価格は7,800円。専用のマグネット保護ケースは5,800円。
