万博 きょうで開催期間の折り返し 一般入場者数が1000万人超え
13日で半年の開催期間の半分を終える大阪・関西万博は、これまでの一般の入場者の数が12日、1000万人を超えました。
158の国と地域が参加して4月に開幕した大阪・関西万博は、13日で半年の開催期間の半分を終え折り返しとなります。
博覧会協会によりますとチケットで訪れた一般入場者の数の累計は、12日で1008万人余りとなり、1000万人を超えました。
1日当たりの一般入場者の数は開幕直後の4月は平均で8万人程度でしたが、5月は11万人余り、6月は12万7000人と増加しています。
猛暑などの影響で今月は10万人を下回る日も多くなっていますが、12日は航空自衛隊の「ブルーインパルス」の展示飛行などもあり、16万4000人が訪れたということです。
万博は過去にも終盤に向けて入場者が増える傾向にあることから、博覧会協会は早めの来場を呼びかけるとともに、入場者が比較的少ない夕方から夜間にかけて花火などのイベントを行い、混雑する時間帯や時期を分散させたいとしています。
