超豪華なF1日本グランプリ観戦が凄すぎた!!! 知られざる“マリオット ボンヴォイ モーメンツ”とは
マリオット・インターナショナルが手掛ける特別な体験型プラットフォーム、「Marriott Bonvoy Moments（マリオット ボンヴォイ モーメンツ）」の旅は、驚くほど特別だった！ F1日本グランプリ開催に伴い、企画されたツアーにGQ JAPANのライフスタイルエディター、イナガキが参加した。

「マリオット ボンヴォイ モーメンツ」とは、ホテルを運営するマリオット・インターナショナルの会員向けサービス「マリオット ボンヴォイ」を利用する顧客に向けた、特別な体験型プラットフォームだ。これまでにプロ選手を招いたゴルフイベントや、特別な食に関するイベントなどさまざまなプラットフォームを用意してきた。
今回、4月4日から鈴鹿で開催された「F1日本グランプリ」を舞台に、マリオット ボンヴォイ モーメンツがスペシャルな旅をプランニングした。その会に参加したのでリポートする。
ひとことで言うなら、想像以上に特別感たっぷりで、かつ贅沢な旅だった。
マリオット ボンヴォイ モーメンツに参加するには、メンバーシッププログラム「マリオット ボンヴォイ」で貯まるポイントが必要だ。ポイントを使ったオークション形式で参加権が得られる。マリオット ボンヴォイの会員であれば、誰でも落札できるチャンスがある。
今後もマリオット ボンヴォイ モーメンツを通じ、会員へ、素敵な体験を届けていく予定とのことだ。
今回の旅は、ザ・リッツ・カールトン京都に前泊し、翌日、F1日本グランプリ（三重県鈴鹿サーキット）を観戦する行程だ。
まずは、ザ・リッツ・カールトン京都へ。開業して11年目を迎え、インターナショナルブランドもずいぶんと京都の街にずいぶんと馴染んだ印象がある。京都の北から南へ流れる鴨川のほとり、東山三十六峰を一望できるロケーションは、何度訪れても最高だ。祇園や河原町、先斗町など繁華街に近いのも嬉しい。
鴨川をイメージしたエントランスを抜け、409点のアートを展示する館内に入ると、和の要素を巧みにとりいれたモダンラグジュアリーが目前に広がる。
宿泊した部屋は「グランドデラックスカモガワリバービュー」。名前の通り、鴨川を一望できる部屋だ。テーブルには、ホテル1階にある「ピエール・エルメ・パリ」とコラボレーションした、F1をモチーフとする特別なスイーツが用意されていた。
ディナーは「シェフズ・テーブル by Katsuhito Inoue」にて。2024年秋にリニューアルオープンし、メニューや内装が一新された。
8席のみの特別な空間では、一年を七十二に分け、気候・動物・植物の変化をより細かに感じるという「七十二候」をテーマにした食事が楽しめる。内装は、天然の花崗岩を使ったテーブルトップには、苔を配するなど細部にこだわる。
18:00の一斉スタートともに、井上勝人シェフのこだわりを心ゆくまで堪能した。
食材はもちろんのこと、シェフ自らが毎朝汲む京都の湧水もよかった。やわらかな味わいに心和む。
上質な素材をひっそりと使うのは、京都ならではの“奥ゆかしさ”とも呼ぶべきだろうか。天然クルマ海老や中津川（岐阜県）産のキャビアなど、いわゆる高級食材は、皿の主役ではなく、ひっそりと料理にあしらわれていたのが印象的だった。
ディナータイムのあとは「The Bar」で、生バンドのジャズ演奏とともにオリジナルカクテルを味わい、明日のF1日本グランプリに思いを馳せる。
