JR西の「WESTER」、「マイ駅」から東海道新幹線の走行位置確認
JR西日本は30日、移動生活ナビアプリ「WESTER」のアップデートにより、「マイ駅」から東海道・山陽新幹線の列車走行位置を簡単に確認できるようになった。

登録した「マイ駅」から、東海道・山陽新幹線の列車走行位置を確認できるようになったため、外出時に列車の位置を正確に把握し、到着時刻に合わせて駅に向かうことで、待ち時間の短縮などが可能。
また、JR東海エリアの在来線全駅で「マイ駅」登録が可能となり、列車走行位置もWESTERアプリのホーム画面から確認可能とした。加えて、「マイ駅」時刻表のリアルタイム遅れ反映機能を、JR学研都市線(木津駅～京橋駅)に拡大した。
また、WESTER会員バーコード画面から直接Wesmo!アプリを起動させる機能を追加。WESTER アプリでポイントを貯めて、5月にスタートした決済サービス「Wesmo!」アプリで利用するという一連の操作をスムーズに行なえる。
