大相撲秋場所14日目 大の里 不戦勝で1敗守る 豊昇龍 2敗で追う

大相撲秋場所14日目。横綱 大の里が不戦勝で1敗を守りました。
2敗で追う横綱 豊昇龍が勝ったため、優勝の行方は28日の千秋楽、横綱どうしの結びの一番に持ち越されました。

負ければ、横綱 大の里の5回目の優勝が決まる結びの一番で、立ち合いの変化で白星をつかみ、千秋楽での逆転優勝に向け望みをつなぎました。

豊昇龍は今場所、11日目まで全勝とトップを走り続けていましたが、12日目から連敗し、一転して、1敗の大の里を追う展開となりました。

これで、ことしの初場所後に横綱に昇進したあと、4場所連続での連敗となり、師匠の立浪親方は、27日の取組前に取材に応じ、「大事な場所でふがいない相撲を取ってはいけない。優勝する可能性があるので、しっかり立て直して頑張ってもらいたい」と奮起を促していました。

14日目は、1敗の大の里と対戦する予定だった大関 琴櫻が休場し、大の里が不戦勝となったため、2敗で追う豊昇龍は、敗れた時点で大の里の優勝を許してしまう状況となりました。

重圧のかかる結びの一番で豊昇龍は、関脇 若隆景と対戦し、立ち合い右に変化をして相手の右の上手をつかみ、そのままはたき込んで勝って、2敗を死守して28日の千秋楽に望みをつなぎました。

横綱が立ち合いで変化したことで、国技館の館内は大歓声のあと、どよめきが続きましたが、豊昇龍は取組後、「きょうは勝ちにいった。残りの一番があるので、集中して頑張りたい」と28日を見据えていました。

日本相撲協会の八角理事長は「豊昇龍は『どうしてもあしたに行きたい』という必死さが伝わった。あすは結びの一番が大事になる」と話していました。

豊昇龍は、勝てば13勝2敗で並び、優勝決定戦へと歩みを進められます。

若隆景「最後まで相撲を取りきりたい」
豊昇龍に敗れた関脇 若隆景は、立ち合いで相手の変化に対応できず敗れて、大関昇進をめざして臨んだ今場所の負け越しが決まり、「集中して最後まで相撲を取りきりたい」とことば少なでした。

安青錦「お客さんに喜んでもらえる相撲を」
新小結 安青錦は、平幕の平戸海に勝って、新入幕から4場所連続の11勝に到達し、「相撲はだめだけど体が動いてくれた。師匠に言われたことをやっているだけ」と振り返り、自己最多の12勝がかかる千秋楽に向けて、「特に気にせず、お客さんに喜んでもらえるような相撲を取りたい」と話していました。
