カルティエのLOVEコレクションに新作「LOVE アンリミテッド」が登場──しなやかなで心地よいブレスレット
多くの人を魅了し続けるカルティエを代表するジュエリーのLOVEコレクションに新作が登場した。「LOVE アンリミテッド」ブレスレットはしなやかに腕に寄り添い、強固な愛の繋がりを表現する。9月29日より発売開始。

1969年にカルティエがニューヨークで制作した「LOVE」ブレスレットは、愛のシンボルとしてジュエリーに革命をもたらしたアイテム。デザイナーのアルド・チプロによって考案され、ドライバーでビスを締め着用する「LOVE」ブレスレットは、自由で新しく、強い愛を表現するジュエリーとして長年愛され続けている。そんな「LOVE」コレクションの最新作である「LOVE アンリミテッド」も、大胆な愛の表現を受け継いだジュエリーだ。
■無限に続くラブスストーリー
しなやかに弛むのが魅力の「LOVE アンリミテッド」は、人間工学に基づき肌にぴったりと沿う心地よさを備えている。ブレスレットにゴドロン装飾のような複数のリンクをあしらい、そこに「LOVE」の特徴でもあるビスを装飾。ビスに手作業でポリッシュ仕上げを施すことで、光の効果を何倍にも高めた。ゴドロンの縦のラインとビスの丸みがジュエリーにリズムをもたらし、ゴドロンとビスの間隔は、バランスとデザインの完璧なプロポーションを維持するため、ブレスレットのサイズによって異なる。この美しく斬新な佇まいの「LOVE アンリミテッド」が完成するまで、約100点以上の試作品やプロトタイプが制作されたという。
また着脱がしやすいように、目に見えないクラスプシステムを考案。このクラスプはビスによって作動し、ブレスレットに完全に一体化し溶け込んでいる。部品を特別な方法で小型化することで、断面やメッシュ構造を消失させ、着用した時の心地よさとしなやかさが実現。「LOVE アンリミテッド」ブレスレットはこのクラスプによって、ブレスレットを複数本つなげることも可能で、さまざまなスタイルで二人を繋げることができるのも特徴となっている。
「LOVE アンリミテッド」コレクションはイエローゴールド、ピンクゴールド、ホワイトゴールドの3素材で、ブレスレットとリングがラインナップする。
