佐賀県警 DNA鑑定不正で再発防止策 上司の鑑定立ち会いなど
佐賀県警察本部の科学捜査研究所の元職員によるDNA鑑定の不正について、県警の福田英之本部長は29日の会見で「警察活動への信頼を大きく損なうものだ」として、改めて陳謝しました。
そのうえで、警察はチェック機能に要因があったとして、上司による鑑定の立ち会いの徹底や、研究員の増員など再発防止策を明らかにしました。
佐賀県警察本部は、科学捜査研究所の40代の男性の元職員がおよそ7年にわたってDNA鑑定を行ったように装い、うその報告をするなど、あわせて130件の不正行為が確認されたとして今月懲戒免職にするとともに、証拠隠滅などの疑いで書類送検しました。
県警の福田英之本部長は29日の定例会見で、「警察活動への信頼を大きく損なうものであり、責任者として深くおわび申し上げます」と改めて、陳謝しました。
また、樋口勝馬刑事部長が、長年にわたり不正が見過ごされたのは鑑定のチェック機能に要因があったなどとして、鑑定の着手から終了まで上司が各段階に立ち会うことの徹底や、研究員の増員、それに複数人でチェックする体制づくりなどの再発防止策を明らかにしました。
この問題をめぐっては、佐賀県弁護士会などが第三者委員会を設置して再検証するよう求めています。
一方、県警はこれまでの調査を踏まえて「捜査や公判に影響はなかった」として設置の必要はないという姿勢を示しています。
