ニトリ、不要の羽毛布団回収を常時受付 メーカー不問
ニトリは9月29日から、全国のニトリ・ニトリEXPRESS・デコホーム・島忠・島忠ホームズ・ニトリホームズの店舗で、不要となった羽毛布団の持ち込みの常時受付を開始する。販売元に関わらず回収する。

ニトリグループが推進する商品のリサイクル回収の取り組みの一環。商品を使い終わった後にニトリに持ち込まれた商品を再資源化する。羽毛布団の全国でのリサイクル回収については、2022年度から複数回にわたって、秋から冬にかけてなど期間限定で実施しており、約8万人が参加、約11.5万枚の羽毛布団を回収した。
持ち込み対象品はダウン率50%以上の羽毛布団。汚れ・穴あきがあっても対象となるが、濡れているものは不可。また、ニトリメンバーズ会員への加入が必要。
回収した羽毛布団は、解体して羽毛を取り出し、洗浄・選別して再製品化。24年度に回収した羽毛布団の「再生羽毛」を使用した「2枚合わせ羽毛掛ふとん NTR-2 K2520」を、9月下旬に発売する。
同製品は全体の65%に再生羽毛を使用しており、2枚合わせのため1年中使えるとしている。価格はシングルが14,990円、セミダブルが19,990円、ダブルが24,990円、クイーンが29,990円。
