5月6日午前7時（日本時間）から、メットガラ2025がスタートした。この20年で初めて、ファッション界最大の夜のテーマはメンズウェアに絞られた。ブラック・ダンディズムの歴史を探るメトロポリタン美術館コスチューム・インスティテュートの特別展『Superfine: Tailoring Black Style（華麗なるブラック・スタイル）』にインスパイアされ、公式ドレスコードは「Tailored for You（あなただけの仕立て）」となっている。ガラの共同ホストを務めるファレル・ウィリアムス、コールマン・ドミンゴ、エイサップ・ロッキー、ルイス・ハミルトンらの気品あるスーツや、レーシーなディテールに注目だ。
