静岡 伊東市議会 解散に伴う市議選 10月19日に投開票
静岡県伊東市の田久保真紀市長が議会を解散したことに伴う市議会議員選挙が10月19日に行われることが決まりました。
学歴詐称の疑いが指摘され、今月1日に市議会で不信任の議決を受けた伊東市の田久保市長は10日、「改めて広く市民に信を問うべきと考えた」などとして市議会を解散しました。
これを受けて伊東市選挙管理委員会は11日午前、市議会議員選挙の日程について協議し、10月12日に告示、19日に投開票を行うことを決めました。
前議員からは、選挙で当選すれば、新たな議会で再び市長に対する不信任決議案を提出するという声があがっています。
地方自治法は、解散後、初めての議会で3分の2以上の議員が出席し、過半数の議員が賛成して不信任決議案が可決された場合、市長は失職すると規定しています。
伊東市議会の議員定数は20人で、市長への不信任決議案に反対する候補者がどの程度、立候補するかが焦点になります。
