赤ちゃんの健やかな成長を願う「泣き相撲」 京都 北野天満宮
「こどもの日」の5日、京都の北野天満宮では赤ちゃんの健やかな成長を願う「泣き相撲」が行われ、華やかな化粧まわしをした赤ちゃんが「泣きっぷり」を競いました。
京都市上京区にある北野天満宮で行われている「泣き相撲」には、ことしは、生後6か月から2歳くらいまでの赤ちゃんおよそ100人が参加しました。
勝負は「より元気に泣いた方が勝ち」とされ、赤ちゃんは色鮮やかな化粧まわしを身につけて保護者と一緒に土俵に上がり、対戦相手と向き合いました。
そして、行司が「はっけよい、のこった」と掛け声をかけると、赤ちゃんは大きな声で泣きだし、観客席からは拍手が送られました。
なかには取り組みが始まる前から大きな声で泣きだしたり、父親にしがみついたりする場面もあり、家族や訪れた人たちは笑顔で見守っていました。
参加した1歳3か月の男の子の母親は「ふだんはおとなしいので土俵で大きな声で泣いていてびっくりました。大きく、健やかに育ってほしいです」と話していました。
