千葉・幕張海浜公園に新アリーナ 2万人収容の国内最大級
ヒューリックは千葉県立幕張海浜公園において、同社が資本提携およびスポンサー契約を締結しているBリーグ所属のプロバスケットボールチーム「アルティーリ千葉」のホームアリーナとなる施設の開発検討を開始する。2万人を収容できる国内最大級のアリーナを構想し、開業時期は2030年を目標とする。

所在地は千葉県千葉市美浜区ひび野1丁目110。アクセスはJR京葉線 海浜幕張駅から徒歩3分、東関東自動車道 海浜千葉ICから車約3分。地上6階、地上約40m、客席2万席規模のアリーナを計画している。敷地面積は約50,000m2、建築面積は約20,000m2、延床面積は約50,000m2。サブアリーナ仕様はバスケットコート1面。
アルティーリ千葉のホームアリーナとしての活用に加え、音楽ライブやエンターテインメントイベント等の開催にも対応可能なマルチユース型施設とし、世界の多様なエンターテイメントを発信するグローバルアリーナを目指す。
また、ヒューリックがアリーナを建築し、竣工後に千葉市へ寄附をする「負担付寄附」という官民連携の整備手法を検討。アリーナを核として周辺地域の賑わいを高めるなど、地域のまちづくりへの貢献を図る。
ヒューリックではスポーツ・エンターテインメント事業への参入を進めており、アリーナ施設の開発に加え、アリーナ運営やサービス提供を通じた事業利益の創出も目指す。
