レッドソックス吉田正尚 3安打1打点 勝利でポストシーズン進出
大リーグ、レッドソックスの吉田正尚選手はタイガース戦で3本のヒットを打って1打点をマークし、チームはサヨナラ勝ちで4年ぶりとなるポストシーズン進出を決めました。
レッドソックスは26日、ポストシーズン進出を争うタイガースと本拠地のボストンで対戦し、試合前にはチームでかつてプレーした松坂大輔さんが始球式を行いました。
吉田選手は4番・指名打者で出場し、2回の第1打席はスライダーをとらえて一二塁間を破り、ライト前に7試合連続となるヒットを打ちました。
4回の第2打席はノーアウト二塁からセンター前にタイムリーヒットを打ち、1打点をあげました。
7回の第3打席は高めのストレートをレフト前に運び、今月2日以来、今シーズン3回目の1試合3安打をマークしました。
同点の9回は先頭バッターで第4打席を迎えセカンドゴロに倒れましたが、その後、打線が連続ヒットでチームは4対3でサヨナラ勝ちしました。
レッドソックスはアメリカンリーグ東部地区で3位ですが、この試合の結果、各地区の2位以下のうち勝率上位の3チームがポストシーズンに進出できるワイルドカード争いでは3位以内が確定し、4年ぶりのポストシーズン進出を決めました。
