JR東日本 落とし物など効率的に探せる新サービス来年4月開始へ
駅や電車での落とし物や忘れ物を持ち主が効率的に探すことができる新たなサービスを、JR東日本が始めることになりました。
JR東日本では、駅や電車での落とし物や忘れ物が年間およそ200万件にのぼっています。
新たなサービスは来年4月から始め、専用のページで日時や場所などの状況や持ち物の特徴を入力すると、データベースに登録された情報と自動で照合し、保管場所に届けられているかを確認できるということです。
持ち主が過去の写真などの画像を送信して照合する機能もあり、外国人旅行者向けに200以上の言語に対応するとしています。
これまでは、駅員が手作業でデータベースに入力していましたが、導入後は、撮影した画像をそのまま登録し、AIの画像認識で情報が処理される仕組みで、作業の負担の軽減にもつながるということです。
JR東日本の喜勢陽一社長は「今後、グループのホテルや駅ビルにも導入し、グループ全体での利便性を向上させたい」と述べました。
