エンポリオ アルマーニとアワー レガシーのコラボレーションふたたび
エンポリオ アルマーニ（Emporio Armani）とアワー レガシー（OUR LEGACY）のサステイナビリティにフォーカスするプロジェクト「アワー レガシー ワークショップ（OUR LEGACY WORK SHOP」は、2023年に続くコラボレーションコレクションの第2弾を発表。5月14日（水）にドーバー ストリート マーケット ギンザにて先行ローンチする。
【写真の記事を読む】初となるウィメンズウェアが登場し、両ブランドによるアーカイブエレガンスの新たな解釈が、さらに深化を遂げた。
コレクションはエンポリオ アルマーニのアーカイブをベースに、アワー レガシー ワークショップの視点で再構築。多くのアイテムには、過去にアルマーニが使用したファブリックやトリムが用いられ、それらが新たな文脈の中で再生されている。その他のアイテムには、ヴィンテージのアルマーニ・ファブリックを再現した特別な素材が使用されており、これは本プロジェクトのためにアワー レガシーが独自に開発したものだ。
また、襟のない「Sciovolo Shirt」や、「Ampolla Blazer」のポケットの裏地に用いられたモチーフなど、東アジアの伝統的な衣服からのインスピレーションが随所に見られるのも特徴。なかでも「Toga Coat」は、和装の構造に着想を得たローブで、デザインプロセスの出発点として重要な役割を果たしている。また、ホテルのバスローブやスリッパから着想を得たアイテムは、夏のリゾートスタイルを思わせる、ゆったりとした陽だまりのようなリラクシングなムードを演出している。
