立川市の中学校に「空調服」導入 登下校などで使用
東京都立川市は、中学校に「電動ファン付ウェア」を導入した。実施校は立川市立立川第四中学校。期間は6月30日～9月中旬(夏季休業日を除く)。
同中学校では登下校時の猛暑対策として「水分補給(水筒持参)」「帽子・日傘の活用」「体育着登校」などを推奨。これらの対策に加えて、希望する生徒に「電動ファン付ウェア(空調服)」を貸与する取り組みを開始した。ウェアはセフト研究所の「空調服」を採用。
登下校時は、生徒がファン付ウェアを着た状態でリュックサックを背負っても、背中に空気が流れるように工夫している。登下校時のほか、体育見学の生徒も利用可。
