テーマは「AI を悪用したサイバー犯罪」インターポールのサイバー犯罪捜査官らに演習を提供 ～ GMOサイバーセキュリティ byイエラエ
GMOサイバーセキュリティ byイエラエ株式会社は6月23日、インターポールと欧州評議会が主催した「Digital Security Challenge」および「Cyber Games」で、AIを悪用したサイバー犯罪への捜査手法を実践的に学ぶ演習を提供したと発表した。
インターポールが2016年から開催している「Digital Security Challenge」は、高度化、複雑化するサイバー犯罪捜査能力の向上を目的とした実践的サイバー犯罪捜査訓練。今年の「Digital Security Challenge」は、欧州評議会が初開催する「Cyber Games」と共催し、AIを悪用したサイバー犯罪に対する捜査手法をテーマとしている。
GMOサイバーセキュリティ byイエラエでは、インターポールまたは欧州評議会の加盟国38ヶ国、108人の法執行機関関係者や政府関係者などサイバー犯罪捜査に関わる関係者向けに、AIを悪用したサイバー犯罪への捜査手法を実践的に学ぶ演習を提供している。同演習の参加者は、ランダムに編成されたチームでAIを悪用したサイバー犯罪捜査に関するシナリオ課題に取り組み、実践を通じて捜査技術の向上を図った。
GMOサイバー犯罪対策センター 局長の福森大喜氏は「世界中から集まった参加者がランダムにチームを組み、CTF形式のシナリオを解き進めながらサイバー犯罪捜査技術を学びましたが、各チームがほぼ徹夜で、食事の時間さえ惜しんで課題に取り組む姿から、AIの利便性の裏にある捜査上の難しさが、どの国にとっても共通の課題であることが強く感じられました。」とコメントしている。
