トヨタ カローラに、新しいFXエディション登場
爽快なカローラのハッチバックに注目！

5月6日、トヨタの北米法人は、「カローラ ハッチバック」（日本名：カローラ スポーツ）の新しい「FXエディション」を設定、発表した。
新しいカローラ ハッチバックFXエディションは、1987年型の「カローラFX16」へのオマージュだ。
ベースとなるのは「SE」グレードで、エクステリアは、ブラックのリヤウイングやグロスホワイトの18インチアルミホイールが目をひく。さらに、かつてのカローラFX16をイメージした「Corolla Special Edition」の専用バッヂも装着する。
インテリアは、オレンジステッチが施された、人工皮革のスポーツシートを装備。オレンジステッチは、ステアリングやシフトレバー、ドアライニングにも施される。7.0インチのデジタルメータークラスターとスマートフォン用ワイヤレスチャージャーなどは標準装備だ。
搭載するエンジンは、2.0リッター直列4気筒ガソリン。169psの最高出力などスペックは不変だ。
新しいカローラ ハッチバックFXエディションは1600台限定。価格などは今後明かされる。
