Mrs. GREEN APPLE 長野県と青森県のグリーンアップル大使に
国民的人気バンド、Mrs. GREEN APPLEが、リンゴの生産が盛んな長野県と青森県から、青リンゴの消費拡大をPRする「グリーンアップル大使」に任命されました。
リンゴの生産量が2位の長野県と1位の青森県は実が黄色い品種を含むいわゆる青リンゴの魅力を広めようと、Mrs. GREEN APPLEを「グリーンアップル大使」に任命しました。
都内で12日、任命式が行われ、両県の知事が委嘱状を手渡しました。
ボーカルの大森元貴さんは、アレルギーでリンゴが食べられないことを明かしつつも、「大切なバンド名でもある“グリーンアップル”の大使になる日が来るとは思ってもいませんでした。これを機に青リンゴの魅力が全国に広がるよう精進していきたいです」と意気込んでいました。
今回の取り組みでは大森さんの監修で、3つの青リンゴのイラストとバンド名をあしらった特別なデザインの箱が用意されました。
「きおう」や「王林」など、品種ごとの旬にあわせた青リンゴが、オンラインショップで3個入り、1箱1980円で抽せん販売され、東京 銀座にある県のアンテナショップで受け取ることができるということです。
長野県の阿部知事は「念願のコラボレーションが実現して大変期待している。りんごの主要な産地としてミセスの皆さんの力を借りてその価値をしっかり発信していきたい」と話していました。
