ドコモ、Visaタッチ対応リング「EVERING」取扱開始
NTTドコモはEVERINGと業務提携し、スマートリング「EVERING」の取り扱いを開始する。5月上旬以降、ドコモショップの一部店舗から販売を開始し、順次拡大する。サブスクリプションでの提供も行なう。

「EVERING」(エブリング)は、Visaのタッチ決済に対応する指輪型のスマートリング。対応するリーダーにかざすだけでVisaのタッチ決済を利用できる。また充電不要で利用できるのも特徴。
残高を専用アプリで予めチャージしておくプリペイド式。オートチャージも設定できる。1回あたりにチャージできる金額は3万円で、1カ月あたりにチャージできる金額は12万円。一度にチャージしておける残高の上限は10万円。リングを紛失した場合は、アプリで利用停止にできる。
サイズ展開はUS 4.5～13。本体は5気圧防水。ジルコニアセラミック製で、「ブラック」「ホワイト」は表面に金属を使用していないため、金属アレルギーの心配なく利用できる。「シルバー」は表面処理に極微量の金属が含まれる。
このほかスマートロックの「bitlock」と「セサミ」に対応しており、解錠・施錠の操作に利用できる。
■ 2つのプランで提供
ドコモが販売するEVERINGは、買い切りタイプで契約期間のない「スタンダードプラン」と、月額料金を支払いながら利用する「定額プラン」の2種類が用意されている。
買い切り型の「スタンダード」
スタンダードプランの場合、本体を一括購入する形となり、「ブラック」「ホワイト」の価格が19,800円、「シルバー」が21,450円。契約期間は設けられない。メーカー保証期間は1年間。
なお、EVERINGの本体にはクレジットカードと同様の有効期限があり、購入してから4年間まで有効。期限を越えて利用する場合は、本体を買い直す必要がある。
月額550円の定額プラン
定額プランは、「ブラック」「ホワイト」が月額550円、「シルバー」は初月が2,200円で、2カ月目以降は月額550円。契約期間は2年間、最低契約期間が2年間となる。メーカー保証期間は2年間。
定額プランでは、本体が有効期限を迎える際に購入クーポンが提供され、新しい本体を無償で入手できる。
