スタジオ ニコルソン × マッキントッシュのコラボレーションアイテムが登場！
英国を拠点とするファッションブランド、スタジオ ニコルソンが、マッキントッシュと初のコラボレーションを発表。10月3日(金)より発売。
【写真を見る】英国のクラフツマンシップと建築的デザインが生み出す新たな名品。
「ファブリック・ファースト」を掲げるスタジオ ニコルソンの素材へのこだわりと、マッキントッシュの職人技が融合し、全アイテムは英国国内で一点ずつハンドメイド。完全防水仕様を備え、カラーはネイビー、ブラック、ピート（泥炭）の落ち着いた3色で展開する。パンツには、従来の天然ゴムに代わって透湿防水フィルムを挟み込んだオリジナルの“レインテック”生地が採用された。
さらに注目すべきは、スタジオ ニコルソンらしい建築的なボリューム感を、マッキントッシュのゴム引きボンディングコットンで表現している点だ。高い機能性と耐久性を備えながら、都会的で洗練されたシルエットに仕上がっている。すべてのコートは、熟練の職人が最初から最後まで手作業で仕立てており、天然ゴムを溶かしたグルーを手で伸ばし、貼り合わせ、ローラーで乾かすなど長年の経験を必要とする製法を経て完成するアイテムには、英国ならではのクラフツマンシップが息づいている。

マッキントッシュの象徴であるゴム引き素材を、スタジオ ニコルソンが独自の建築的な感性で仕立て直したレインコート。リラックス感のあるオーバーサイズのシルエットは、羽織るだけでモダンな空気をまとわせてくれる。カラーはブラック、ピート、ネイビーの3色。クラシックな佇まいと日常使いのしやすさを兼ね備えた、まさに今回のコラボを象徴する一着だ。
