Claude Sonnet 4.5公開 「コンピュータ活用で最良のモデル」
Anthropicは29日(米国時間)、最新のAIモデル「Claude Sonnet 4.5」を提供開始した。ClaudeのAIモデルの中で、最上位の「Opus」に次ぐ性能で「日常利用に最適な、スマートで効率的なモデル」としている。

Sonnet 4から、推論と数学の分野で大幅な進歩し、「複雑なエージェント構築において最強のモデルで、コンピューター活用において最良のモデル」と説明。また、モデルのアップデートとともに、Claude Codeでは、要望の多かった「チェックポイント」を追加したことで、進捗を保存し、以前の状態にロールバックできる機能を追加したほか、ネイティブのVS Code拡張機能を提供開始した。
Claudeアプリには、コード実行とファイル作成(スプレッドシート、スライド、ドキュメント)を会話内に直接組み込める機能を追加。さらに、Macユーザー向けのClaude for Chrome拡張機能も提供している。
ベンチマークでは、コンピュータータスクでAIモデルを評価する「OSWorld」において、Sonnet 4.5は61.4%で首位となった(4カ月前はSonnet 4が42.2%で首位)。また、安全トレーニングにより、モデルの挙動を改善しており、おべっか使い、欺瞞、権力追求、妄想的思考を助長する傾向などの「懸念される行動」を低減している。
API経由でSonnet 4.5を利用する場合のコストは、従来のSonnet 4から変わらない。また、研究プレビューとして「Imagine with Claude」を紹介。ソフトウェアを自動生成できる機能となっており、Maxプランのユーザー(月額100ドル)は5日間利用可能とする。
