「Suica経済圏」を目指す JR東日本が新経営ビジョン
JR東日本グループは1日、新たなグループ経営ビジョン「勇翔 2034」を発表した。10年後の同社グループの姿を想定したもので、鉄道インフラ以外の事業を強化するとともに、「宇宙」関連事業などの強化を予定。2031年度の営業収益は24年度比40%増の4兆円超を目指す。

現在のグループ経営ビジョン「変革 2027」で進めてきた、「鉄道インフラ」から「ヒト」への事業転換を更に推し進め、「ヒト起点のサービス」を事業の軸に据える。創造する価値として「ライフスタイル・トランスフォーメーション(LX)」を掲げ、社会課題や潜在ニーズに向き合い、鉄道インフラと連携したサービス展開を目指す。価値創造のフィールドも都市、地方、世界に加え、「宇宙」にも広げていく。
具体的には、鉄道では、宇宙からの衛星情報を活用したチケッティングサービス、列車制御、施設管理などの業務革新を行なう。また、「新えきねっと」や販売窓口のAI化、Suicaの進化などを予定している。
加えて、鉄道とバス、航空機、ライドシェア、バイクシェア、エアモビリティなどの交通手段をつなぐ立体的なMaaSの構築も目指すという。
まちづくりでは、鉄道を中心としたモビリティと生活ソリューションの融合のほか、「ご当地Suica(仮称)」などを提案。また、環境・物流・二次交通などの地域課題へのソリューション提供などの「まちづくりモデル(J-TOD)」を構築し、東南アジア・南アジアでのまちづくりにも参画する。
Suicaにおいては、「Suica Renaissance」において示している、「2万円上限」「事前チャージ」「タッチが必要」というSuicaの制限の緩和を図り、「生活のデバイス」へ進化させ、新たなビジネス機会の創出を目指す。また、移動と販売をつなげた新たなビジネスモデル構築やサブスク商品展開、地域ごとのニーズに応える「ご当地Suica(仮称)」の提供などを行なう。
加えて、GPSや人工衛星などの通信手段を活用したエリア全体でのウォークスルー改札の推進なども予定。Suicaを「あらゆるビジネスの基盤」として進化させ、統一されたIDと合わせて、「Suica生活圏」を構築していく。
地域活性化では、「はこビュン」等のビジネスモデルによる地域経済の振興と新たな観光流動の創出、「ご当地Suica(仮称)」を活用した二拠点居住の推進による新たな交流人口の創出、マーケットニーズに即した駅ビルのモデルチェンジ(Beyond 駅ビル)などを想定。増加するインバウンドの地域流動拡大については、東北への宿泊を伴う移動を1.5%程度から5%に拡大する計画だ。
エネルギーでは、再生可能エネルギーの活用やまちづくりにおける最適なエネルギーマネジメント(電力需要の抑制・シフト・創出)の実現や、水素ハイブリッド車両の営業運転投入、TAKANAWA GATEWAY CITYをハブとした生活エネルギーとしての水素活用へのチャレンジなどを予定している。
これらにより、鉄道等のモビリティは31年度に24年度比で2,000億円の営業収益拡大を、生活ソリューションは33年度に営業収益・利益の倍増を目指す。2031年度の売上収益目標は4兆円で、34年度5兆円を目指す。
