GMOサイバーセキュリティ byイエラエ、「Global Cyber Skills Benchmark 2025」で世界 2 位 国内 1 位
GMOサイバーセキュリティ byイエラエ株式会社は6月18日、5月23日から27日にオンラインで開催された国際サイバーセキュリティコンテスト「Global Cyber Skills Benchmark 2025」で世界2位、国内1位を獲得したと発表した。
「Global Cyber Skills Benchmark（GCSB）」はHack The Boxが主催する国際サイバーセキュリティコンテストで、企業のサイバーセキュリティに特化したコンテスト「HTB Business CTF」の後身として今年初めて開催され、656チームが参加している。
GCSBは実践的な知識や技術を評価することに重点を置いた問題が出題されることが特徴で、今年はWebアプリケーション、リバースエンジニアリング、暗号、クラウド、産業用制御システムなどの分野における問題が40種類以上出題され、GMOサイバーセキュリティ byイエラエは、出題された問題を全問クリアし、世界2位、国内1位を獲得した。
「GCSB2025」に参加した同社サイバーセキュリティ事業本部 執行役員の小池悠生氏は「今回の大会では、惜しくも2時間差で世界1位を逃しましたが、世界2位・国内1位を獲得できて素直に嬉しいです。GCSBでは、他の大会と比べても広範囲・多数の問題を、高速に解く必要があります。そのなかで、全問題を解いての世界2位という結果は、弊社の分野にとらわれない高い技術力を示してくれていると思います。」とコメントしている。
