日本生命の社員 出向先の銀行の内部資料 無断で持ち出し共有
大手生命保険の日本生命は、銀行に出向していた社員が保険の販売に関する銀行の内部資料を無断で持ち出し、社内で共有していたと明らかにしました。保険業界では出向先での情報の取り扱いをめぐり、相次いで問題が明らかになっています。
日本生命によりますと、保険をはじめとする金融商品を窓口で販売する大手銀行の関連部署に出向していた社員が、去年3月、銀行の内部資料を無断で持ち出していたということです。
持ち出した資料には、どの金融商品を販売すれば高い評価が得られるかといった、銀行内の評価基準が記載されていて、会社の中で資料を共有していたということです。
生命保険会社にとって、銀行の窓口は保険商品を販売するうえで重要なルートとなっていて、内部資料を活用して、銀行への営業活動が行われていたとみられます。
日本生命は、ほかにも同じような事案がないかを調べる方針で、「ご迷惑とご心配をおかけしていますことを深くおわびします。このような行為を発生させないよう再発防止策の策定および徹底に努めてまいります」とコメントしています。
保険業界では、複数の保険会社の商品を扱う乗り合い代理店に出向していた社員らが、同業他社の顧客情報を自社に流すなどの問題が相次いでいて、法令順守の体制が改めて問われそうです。
