きょうモルドバ議会選挙 隣国ウクライナ含む地域情勢に影響も
旧ソビエトのモルドバで28日、議会選挙の投票が行われます。ロシアに近い野党が勢力を伸ばせば、隣国ウクライナを含む地域情勢にも影響が及ぶ可能性があり、選挙の結果が注目されています。
ウクライナの隣国、旧ソビエトのモルドバでは議会の101議席を争って28日、投票が行われます。
EU＝ヨーロッパ連合への加盟を推進するサンドゥ大統領の与党やロシアとの関係も重視する野党連合などとの間で激しい選挙戦となっていて、街なかには各政党のブースが並び、道行く人たちに投票を呼びかけています。
前回・4年前の議会選挙では与党が過半数を獲得しましたが、歴史的なつながりからロシアとの関係を重視する有権者も多く、今回の選挙では与党が過半数を維持するかどうかが焦点です。
仮にロシアに近い野党が勢力を伸ばせば、隣国ウクライナを含む地域情勢にも影響が及ぶ可能性があります。
モルドバのシンクタンク「ウォッチドッグ」のアンドレイ・クララル研究員は、「ロシアに近い勢力は、過半数を獲得できなければ選挙の結果を認めず、暴力的な抗議活動や外交、経済など、あらゆる手段を通じて政府に圧力をかけようとするだろう。モルドバの今後10年間を決める選挙となる可能性がある」と指摘しています。
ロシアによるプロパガンダが影響との指摘も
旧ソビエトのモルドバは国内の人口がおよそ250万、面積は日本の九州よりやや小さい国で、かねてから欧米とロシアとの関係をめぐって揺れてきました。
去年の大統領選挙ではサンドゥ大統領が再選され、EU＝ヨーロッパ連合への加盟を目指す路線を継続していますが、国内にはロシア系住民もいて、モルドバからの独立を一方的に宣言した沿ドニエストル地方にはロシアが軍の部隊を駐留させ、影響力を行使しています。
今回の議会選挙では、与党とロシアとの関係も重視する野党連合の間で接戦になっていると伝えられ、その背景には政府の経済政策への不満だけでなく、ロシアによるプロパガンダが影響しているという指摘もあります。
モルドバの治安当局は選挙前の今月22日、大規模な暴動や不安定化工作の準備に関わった疑いで250か所を捜索して74人を拘束し、犯罪組織を通じたロシアの関与が疑われるとしているほか、偽情報が拡散されたとしてこの2か月で10万以上の偽のSNSアカウントを閉鎖したとしています。
一方で、国内の人口の5分の2にあたる、およそ100万人と言われる国外に移住した人の多くがヨーロッパとの関係を重視しているとされ、その票が選挙の結果を大きく左右するものとみられます。
