Yahoo!検索、「地名 災害」検索で災害情報を集約
Yahoo!検索は、市区町村ごとの避難情報や気象警報などの災害関連情報を検索結果上に集約して表示する機能の提供を開始した。

これまでもYahoo!検索では、災害発生時に気象警報や避難場所、ハザードマップ、地震・台風などの防災情報を提供してきたが、検索件数の大幅な増加を背景に、より分かりやすく情報を届ける必要性が高まっていた。例えば、2024年8月下旬に発生した台風10号の際には、「地名 避難情報」の検索件数が前週比で約222倍、「地名 警報」は約28倍に急増した。
今回「市区町村名 災害」と検索することで、避難指示や緊急安全確保などの避難情報、気象警報・注意報、土砂災害警戒情報、洪水予報、さらに地震・津波・台風・停電などの関連情報を一覧で確認できる。端末の位置情報を許可している場合には、「災害」と入力するだけで現在地の災害情報も表示される。
