4月30日、ホンダの北米法人は、新型「CR-V」の「トレイルスポーツ」仕様を発表した。
新型CR-Vトレイルスポーツのエクステリアは、オレンジの専用バッヂやグロスブラックのドアハンドル、リヤスポイラーなどが目をひく。ボディカラーには「アッシュグリーンメタリック」も新たに用意した。足まわりは、専用18インチのアルミホイール（グレー）とコンチネンタル製のオールテレインタイヤを組み合わせる。
インテリアでは、フロントシートのヘッドレストにトレイルスポーツのロゴが刻まれる。フロアマットは汚れに強い仕様とした。ほかに10.2インチのデジタルメータークラスター、ヒーター付きフロントシート＆ステアリングホイール、サンルーフなどを備える。
パワートレインは、ガソリンエンジン＋モーターのハイブリッドのみ。システム総合出力は204psに達する。
新型CR-Vトレイルスポーツの価格などは今後明かされる。
