75歳以上医療費負担緩和措置今月末終了 福岡厚労相 理解求める
75歳以上の医療費の窓口負担が2割の人を対象に、負担の増加を緩和する措置が今月末で終わります。福岡厚生労働大臣は、影響を受ける人はおよそ310万人にのぼり、平均で年9000円程度、負担が増える見込みだと明らかにしたうえで、現役世代の負担を抑制する観点から理解を求めました。
原則1割となっている75歳以上の後期高齢者の医療費の窓口負担は、3年前の制度改正で、単身世帯は年収200万円以上、複数世帯は世帯年収が320万円以上で2割に引き上げられた一方、負担の増加を緩和するため、1か月の外来診療の負担増は3000円までとする配慮措置が設けられました。
この配慮措置は、今月末で終了することになっていて、福岡厚生労働大臣は、12日の閣議のあとの記者会見で、影響を受ける人は推計でおよそ310万人にのぼり、平均で年9000円程度、負担が増える見込みだと明らかにしました。
そのうえで「現役世代の負担を抑制する観点から、配慮措置の終了に理解をいただきたい。引き続き高齢者に対する必要な保障が欠けることのないよう、受診や家計の状況も確認しながら、制度の持続可能性を確保するために丁寧に議論を進めていきたい」と述べました。
