東京湾フェリー 壊れた船の修理で大型連休前半は減便で運航
神奈川県横須賀市の久里浜港と千葉県富津市の金谷港を結ぶ「東京湾フェリー」は壊れた船の修理を行うため、大型連休の前半は便を減らして運航することになりました。その時期は例年、利用者が多く、運航会社はほかの交通手段も検討してほしいとしています。
東京湾フェリーは先月の強風で、2隻あるうちの1隻が入港中に岸壁に接触してかじが壊れたため、1時間に1往復するダイヤを、2時間に1往復に変更して運航しています。
会社によりますと、損傷した船の修理は来月までかかる見込みで、少なくとも大型連休前半の来月2日までは減便したダイヤで運航を続けることになりました。
例年、房総半島に観光に向かう人などで混雑する時期で、今月27日から来月2日までは待ち時間が、車は最大6時間、二輪車は最大8時間になると予想されています。
来月3日以降の運航は修理状況をみながら決めるということで、東京湾フェリーは「大きな混雑が予想されるため東京湾アクアラインなどほかの交通手段も検討してほしい」と呼びかけています。
