ドリス ヴァン ノッテンのジュリアン・クロスナー、初のメンズショーで堂々たる新章を印象付ける【2026年春夏コレクション】
2025年6月26日（現地時間）、パリ・ファッションウィークにてドリス ヴァン ノッテンの最新メンズウェアコレクションが発表された。

ファッションショーにもいろいろあるが、なかには多大な期待をもって迎えられるものもある。6月26日（現地時間）、パリ・ファッションウィークで開催されたドリス ヴァン ノッテンのショーはそのひとつだ。
1986年に「アントワープの6人」のひとりによって立ち上げられたドリス ヴァン ノッテンは、創業者である同名のデザイナーによって運営されてきた。しかし、それも昨年6月までのこと。記憶に残る引退ショーの後、ヴァン・ノッテンの地位はジュリアン・クロスナーによって引き継がれた。昨年12月に新クリエイティブ・ディレクターに就任したベルギー出身のクロスナーは、師匠の後継者に相応しい人物として自身の力量を示してみせた。
■新クリエイティブ・ディレクター就任後初のメンズショー
この日、初のメンズランウェイを経験したクロスナーは、今季のパリ・ファッションウィークで最も成功した2026年春夏コレクションを披露し、ライバルに差をつけた。ドリス ヴァン ノッテンで7年間ウィメンズウェアを担当していた彼は、メンズでも偉大なデザイナーとしての素質を備えていることを証明した。
会場となったパリ東部のナシオン広場近くにある古い格納庫の跡地では、ルー・リードの「パーフェクト・デイ」が流れていた。「完璧な一日」を歌ったこの曲は、ショーが進むにつれ、ぴったりの選曲に感じられるようになっていった。
次々と現れるシルエットが、陽気で明るいワードローブを描き出していく。エレガントでありながら、とても気楽な印象だ。クロスナーの持つ、何か喩えようのない魅力を捉える能力は、彼のワードローブが着用者の好きなように変化し得ることを意味している。クロスナーは男性たちにファンタジーを抱かせ、普段は身に着けないような色、さらにはアクセサリーを選びたくさせる。
そこかしこに、柄の入ったカラフルなサロンがシャツやスーツジャケット、ネクタイと組み合わされて登場した。ビーチサンダル（2026年春夏メンズウェアのキーアクセサリーのひとつ）は、こうしたハイブリッドなルックを際立たせ、ストリート的な新しいテーラリングを体現していた。
ドリス ヴァン ノッテンを特徴づける伝統に忠実に、ジュリアン・クロスナーも国際的な民俗文化を取り入れ（たとえばサロンは東南アジアをルーツとする）、師匠のように花、ジャカード、パッチワークをミックスした。素材は高級感があり、色彩は鮮やかである。33歳のクロスナーがサヴォアフェールの持ち主であることは、細かなディテールに至るまで狙いがクリアであることからも明白だ。
メンズのプレタポルテでこれほど豊かな刺繍を見るのも久々だ。クロスナーはあらゆる面で秀でていると言わざるを得ない。それは、コレクションの最も些細な部分に至っても同じだ。たとえばショーツ。2シーズン前に定着して以来、うまく取り入れることに苦慮しているブランドもあるトレンドだが、彼の手にかかれば単なるマイクロショーツではなくなる。クロスナーは、そのどれもにカラフルなプリントをあしらい、長めに丈をとった別のシルエットでは、クリスタルをちりばめた美しい刺繍を施した。そのすべてに精緻な仕事が光る。ジュリアン・クロスナー時代のドリス ヴァン ノッテンほどディテールが進化したことはないだろう。
