ファミマ、「AIレコメンド発注」導入 ”お手本”を提案
ファミリーマートは、AIを活用した発注システム「AIレコメンド発注」を6月末より全国の500店舗で導入した。おむすびや弁当、サンドイッチといった商品の最適な発注数をAIが自動で提案することで、店舗業務の効率化と販売機会の最大化を図る。

これまで発注は店舗ごとの経験にも基づくものが多く、欠品による機会損失や過剰発注による廃棄ロスが課題となっていた。AIレコメンド発注では、過去1年分の販売実績に加え、店舗周辺の通行量や気象情報、祝日といったカレンダー情報など、膨大なデータをもとにAIが高精度な販売予測を行なう。
本システムの特徴のひとつが利益が高い店舗の「お手本店」機能で、自店舗と立地などの環境が似ており、利益の高い店舗の販売傾向から、自店では取り扱っていない売れ筋商品の発注を提案する。これにより、品揃えの最適化も期待される。
販売予測数に加え、販売機会ロスを防ぐために、次の納品までの在庫の繰り越し分を考慮した「売場ボリュームを保つ数」を自動で算出・加算する。これにより欠品を防ぐとともに、廃棄リスクの抑制にもつなげる。AIによる発注提案は1日4回更新され、店舗による調整も可能。イベントや新商品などイレギュラーな状況にも柔軟に対応できるとしている。導入店舗では、発注作業にかかる時間が1週間で約6時間削減される見込み。
