7月に行われたマイケル・ライダーによるセリーヌ2026年スプリングコレクションにて、発表されたセリーヌのアイコニックな「ラゲージ」バッグを再解釈した「ニューラゲージ」が9月26日（金）よりセリーヌ 表参道店にて先行発売される。
セリーヌの歴史の基礎となる象徴的なデザインとなったフィービー・ファイロが2010年に発表したファントム ラゲージ。創業者のセリーヌ・ヴィピアナが1969年にデザインしたミストラル バッグを彷彿とさせる、ウェーブラインのデザインをより現代的にアップデートした「ニューラゲージ」は、横に広いプロポーションと、ボリュームをおさえたパイピングとステッチを使用し、カーブとストレートの2種類のジップを施して進化を遂げた。
新たに取り入れられたシャイニーラムスキンの素材は、非常にしなやかな手触りでありながら適度なハリを備え、控えめな光沢とデリケートな質感を特徴とし、流れるように滑らかなシルエットを実現。「ニューラゲージ」は、精巧な構造、独自の佇まい、そして控えめな洗練さを併せもち、セリーヌの永続的なデザインコードを体現した新作に仕上がっている。
また、この特徴的なデザインを取り入れた新作「カバニューラゲージ」も同時に表参道店、オンラインストアにて先行発売される。
