「神戸ポートタワー」 26日の営業再開を前に内覧会
港町・神戸のランドマーク「神戸ポートタワー」が大規模な改修工事を終えて今月26日にリニューアルオープンします。これを前に23日、報道関係者向けの内覧会が開かれました。
1963年に神戸港に開業した「神戸ポートタワー」は高さ108メートルの観光用タワーで、耐震補強などのための大規模な改修工事を終えて今月26日、およそ2年7か月ぶりに営業を再開します。
23日は、報道関係者向けの内覧会が開かれ、初めてリニューアル後のタワーの内部が公開されました。
今回の改修工事では、屋上に神戸港や市街地などが一望できるガラス張りの展望デッキが新たに設置されたほか、その下の「展望フロア」には床が30分で360度回転し、景色を楽しみながら食事ができる飲食店がオープンします。
また、景色などを背景に記念写真を撮るための撮影スポットや、人の動きに反応して光が変化するアートスペースも誕生します。
このほか、入場無料の「低層フロア」には、お好み焼きのソースやリュックサックなど神戸で生産されている商品を取り扱う販売店が並びます。
タワーを運営する「神戸ウォーターフロント開発機構」の森倫也課長は「新しくなった神戸ポートタワーにはこれまでになかった設備や店が多くあります。ぜひたくさんの人に楽しんでもらいたいです」と話していました。
