宮城 栗原 “くりでん”に体験乗車できる催し
大型連休に合わせて、宮城県栗原市では「くりでん」の愛称で親しまれた栗原田園鉄道の車両に体験乗車できる催しが開かれ、親子連れなどでにぎわいました。
この催しは、18年前に廃止された「くりでん」を知ってもらおうと栗原市の旧・若柳駅に整備された「くりはら田園鉄道公園」で開かれました。
大型連休に合わせてふだんは展示されている車両を走らせ、小学生以上は1人300円で体験乗車できます。
4日は鉄道ファンや親子連れが訪れ、軽やかなエンジン音を響かせて走る「くりでん」の乗り心地を味わいながら、往復で1.8キロ、およそ10分間の小さな旅を楽しみました。
帰省に合わせて静岡県から家族で訪れたという5歳の男の子は「楽しかった」と話していました。
また、山形市から家族で訪れたという7歳の女の子は「景色を見ることができて楽しかった」と話していました。
5日も午前10時から午後3時40分まで行われます。
