愛車の履歴書──Vol78. 伊東美咲さん
愛車を見せてもらえば、その人の人生が見えてくる。気になる人のクルマに隠されたエピソードをたずねるシリーズ第78回の後編。俳優の伊東美咲さんが、今気になっているという最新の電気自動車に触れた！

前編では、デビュー間もない時期の伊東美咲さんが2代目マツダ「デミオ」のイメージキャラクターを務め、このコラボレーションが大きな成功を収めたエピソードを紹介した。
後編となる今回は、伊東さんがいま興味をもっているというBEV（バッテリー式電気自動車）のカテゴリーから、GQ JAPAN編集部が伊東さんにふさわしいと考えた2台をリコメンドした。
この2台を紹介する前に、伊東さんがBEVに興味を持つにいたる過程を振り返っていただく。伊東さんによれば、ライフステージに応じて愛車も形を変えるようになったという。
「独身時代はマツダのデミオで、やがて結婚して子どもに恵まれるようになると次第にクルマが大きくなっていきました。ハワイで暮らしていた時期は、クルマを何台か持つのがあたりまえの環境でして、1台がパンクしちゃったからもう1台で行こう、みたいな（笑）。日本と違って道があまりよくないんですね。どの家にも2台、3台あり、そのうちの1台はテスラなどの電気自動車というケースが多く、そのせいか充電設備もあちこちにあります。それで電気自動車に興味を持つようになりました」
GQ JAPAN編集部が伊東さんにお薦めする1台目は、ロールス・ロイスの「スペクター」。
同社初のBEVで、全長5475mmというサイズもさることながら、パンテオン神殿をモチーフにしたフロントグリルなど、見るからに荘厳なモデル。
加えて、内外装を精悍な雰囲気に仕立て、高出力化も果たした「ブラック・バッジ」という仕様だから、周囲を圧するような存在感を放つ。
「こんなに大きいクルマ、私に運転できるかしら」と、言いながら、それでも伊東さんは興味津々の様子。観音開きのドアを開け、インテリアを覗き込むと、レザーの色艶や手触りのよさに、感嘆の声をあげる。
「クルマというより、ラグジュアリーホテルのようなインテリアでびっくりしています」
さらに、2000個とも3000個ともされる光ファイバーの光源を天井に配した「スターライト・ヘッドライナー」を見上げると、息を呑んだ。まるでプラネタリウムのように星が瞬く天井には、流れ星が糸を引くこともあると聞いて、伊東さんはしばらくの間、言葉を失った。
「子育てを終え、少し余裕ができたらラグジュアリーなクルマに乗りたいという希望がありますが、このクルマに乗るにはかなり頑張らないと難しいですね（笑）。でも、こういう素晴らしい世界の存在を知ることができたのはいい経験です。すごく静かに、滑らかに走ることもあって、どんなリラクゼーションの体験ができるのか、知りたくなりました」
ボンネット先端に鎮座するスピリット・オブ・エクスタシーは、電動格納式。
イルミネーテッド・フェイシアの模様に、ブラック・バッジ・シリーズ全体で使用されているインフィニティ・シンボルが取り入れられた。
ちなみにロールス・ロイス・ブラック・バッジ・スペクターの最高出力は659psで、最大トルクは1075Nm。0〜100km/h加速はわずか4.3秒と、ポルシェ「911カレラ」の4.1秒に迫る。ゴージャスな室内でリラックスできるモデルであるのと同時に、ロールス・ロイス史上最速のBEVでもある。
もう1台、伊東さんにGQ JAPANが薦めたのがロータス「エメヤ」。
グローバルなラグジュアリースポーツブランドへの転身を図るロータスが送り出す、BEVのハイパーGTだ。
はたして、このクルマをご覧になった伊東さんは、「最近、よく見かけますよね」と、予想外の反応を示した。
伊東さんは現在、シンガポールに在住。彼女の地では日本とは異なりこのクルマが頻繁に走っているのだという。
伊東さんに、F1で実績を残したロータスの栄光の歴史や、これまでに世に送り出してきた革新的なスポーツカーについて解説する。
うなずきながら熱心に聞き入る伊東さんは、「このサイズ感なら私にも運転できそうですね」という感想を残した。
自身とコラボレーションしたスターダストピンクのマツダ・デミオでクルマ生活をスタートさせた伊東美咲さんがオレンジのロータス・エメヤに興味をお持ちになるというのは、ひとつの物語としてつながっているように感じる。
やがて子育てがひと段落し、パーソナルなクルマを楽しむようになる伊東さんが、どんな色の、どのようなクルマを選ぶのか、実に興味深い。
1977年5月26日、福島県生まれ。女性誌「CanCam」専属モデルを経て、2000年に俳優デビュー。ドラマ「ごくせん」(日本テレビ系)、「電車男」や「サプリ」（共にフジテレビ系）などに数々の話題作に出演。2004年に初主演した映画「海猫」で第28回日本アカデミー賞新人俳優賞に輝く。結婚、出産を経て2017年から海外在住。
