中国とオーストラリアの首脳 米関税念頭に 経済協力拡大に意欲
中国の習近平国家主席はオーストラリアのアルバニージー首相と、15日、北京で会談し、アメリカのトランプ政権の関税措置による影響も念頭に、貿易など経済分野の協力拡大に意欲を示しました。
中国の習近平国家主席は、中国を訪問しているオーストラリアのアルバニージー首相と、15日、北京で会談しました。
両国の発表によりますと、習主席はこの中で「両国関係は近年、改善が進み、両国民に確かな利益をもたらした」とした上で「アジア太平洋の自由貿易圏の建設を推進すべきだ」などと述べて、経済分野での協力拡大に意欲を示しました。
中国としては、アメリカのトランプ政権の関税措置による各国への影響を念頭に、アメリカの同盟国であるオーストラリアをみずからの側に引き寄せたいねらいもあるとみられます。
これに対し、アルバニージー首相も「中国との関係を重視しており、冷静かつ一貫した姿勢で関係を続けていく」と応じ、最大の貿易相手国である中国との連携に前向きな姿勢を示しました。
ただ、オーストラリアでは、周辺の海域にも活動範囲を広げる中国に対する警戒感が強まっており、安全保障と中国との経済協力をどう両立させるかが課題となっています。
