新型マツダCX-80、堂々登場！ 日本製高級車の新しい歴史が始まる

4月19日、マツダの欧州法人は、新型クロスオーバー「CX-80」を発表した。
新型CX-80は、マツダが欧州市場に初めて導入する3列シートSUVであり、かつ同市場での最上級モデルとなる。
開発で目指したものは「優雅で心豊かなドライビング」とのこと。デザインコンセプトは「Graceful Toughness」だ。
インテリアは、シート配列を複数設定。2列目シートの座席間にコンソールがあるセパレートのキャプテンシートにくわえ、コンソールのない仕様も用意。後者は、2列目および3列目シートのウォークスルーを実現する。また2列目シートが3人掛けとなるベンチタイプも選べる。荷室は、3列目シート使用時でもゴルフバッグやベビーカーが搭載できる空間を確保した。
欧州向けのパワートレインには、2.5リッター直列4気筒ガソリンエンジンをベースとしたプラグインハイブリッドシステムと、3.3リッター直列6気筒ディーゼルエンジンとM Hybrid Boostを組み合わせた「e-SKYACTIV D」の2種類を設定する。
安全性能では、「クルージング&トラフィック・サポート(CTS)緊急停止支援機能付」を欧州向けに初採用。 この機能は使用中に、手放し運転やドライバーの閉眼や脇見を検出した場合、ドライバーへの注意喚起を段階的におこない、体調急変や漫然運転などのドライバーの状態に由来する事故リスクの低減を図る。さらに注意喚起してもドライバーの状態に変化がない場合、被害軽減のため、車両の減速・停止を支援する。
新型CX-80は、欧州で今年5月に予約受注を開始し、今秋の発売を予定。日本導入は明かされていない。
