JR函館線 線路に土砂流入 一部区間で運転見合わせ
北海道のJR函館線は大雨の影響で線路に土砂が流れ込み、3日の始発から一部区間で、運転を見合わせています。運転再開のめどは立っていないということです。
JR北海道によりますと、2日夜遅く、JR函館線の石倉駅と森駅の間の線路に土砂が流れ込んだということです。
現場では、線路脇ののり面がおよそ5メートルにわたり崩れていて、3日朝から、作業員10人ほどが土砂を取り除く作業を行っています。
現場周辺では、1日から2日にかけて、大雨となり、JR北海道は、地盤が緩んでいた可能性があるとみています。
この影響で、JR函館線は3日の始発から、札幌と函館の間の一部区間で、運転を見合わせています。
特急と普通列車のあわせて17本が運休となっています。
現場では復旧作業が進められていますが、運転再開のめどは立っておらず、JR北海道は、ホームページなどで最新の状況を確認するよう呼びかけています。
現場近くに住む80代の女性は、「きのう夜10時半ごろに家の裏から、『シャーシャー』という音がしていた。けさ外に出て確認してみたら、土砂崩れが起きていました。こんなことは初めてです」と話していました。
