グーグルGemini、写真を動画に変換する新機能 Veo 3を活用
Googleは10日、Geminiにおいて、写真を動画に変換する機能を提供開始した。動画生成AIの「Veo 3」を活用するもので、Google AI Pro(月額2,900円)とGoogle AI Ultra(同36,400円)向けに展開する。
写真から動画へ変換するには、プロンプトボックスのツールメニューから「動画」を選択し、写真をアップロード。続いて、シーンの説明と音声指示を入力すると、写真から動画を生成できる。日常の物をアニメーション化したり、絵や絵画に命を吹き込む、自然のシーンに動きを加えるといった使い方が可能。作成した動画の共有も可能。
なお、不適切な利用を防ぐ機能を搭載しているほか、生成されたすべての動画は、AI生成であることを示すウォーターマークと、SynthIDデジタルウォーターマークが含まれ、AI生成を判別可能としている。
写真から動画生成は、動画作成アプリの「Flow」からも利用可能。
