鉄道・航空業界 従業員にスニーカーの着用認める動き広がる
鉄道や航空業界では、長時間の立ち仕事をする従業員にスニーカーの着用を認める動きが広がっています。
地下鉄の東京メトロは、今月1日から駅員や運転士などの服装のルールを見直しました。
これまでは、男女ともに革靴を履くことが決められていましたが、黒っぽい色であればスニーカーの着用も認めることになりました。
長時間の立ち仕事になるうえ、運行トラブルや急病人といった緊急対応の際にはホームを急いで移動したり、線路脇の砂利の上を歩いたりするケースもあるため、検討を進めてきたということです。
さらに、女性の髪の色について、これまでの基準より明るく染めることを認めたほか、ネクタイの着用期間を通年で「任意」に変更し、職場環境の改善を図るとしています。
ルールの見直しを担当した高橋壮永さんは「なぜ革靴ではだめなのかという正直な意見が現場からあがっていた。今の時代、急激な考え方の変化もあり、今後も適宜、改正を重ねていきたい」と話していました。
一方、航空業界では、スカイマークが先月から客室乗務員や空港スタッフを対象にスニーカーの着用を認めたほか、エア・ドゥもことし7月から空港スタッフを対象に試験的に認めることにしています。
