今年注目すべき電気自動車：フォルクスワーゲン「ID.7」
注目してほしい。VWの4ドアセダン「ID.7」は、量産間近とされているコンセプトカー「ID. Aero」の市販バージョンとなる。これはコンセプトカー「ID.Vizzion」から派生したモデルだ。

「ID.7」はEV専用プラットフォーム「MEB+」を採用する。VWによると、自動運転機能の大幅な性能向上、充電の200kW化（元々は175kW）を実現し、WLTP基準の航続距離は約100マイル（約161km）増となる435マイル（約700km）になるという。
シングルモーターの後輪駆動車（RWD）とデュアルモーターの全輪駆動車（AWD）が登場予定で、時速0マイルから時速62マイル（約100km/h）まで5.6秒で到達する「GTX」バージョンも含まれる。なお、シングルモーターのモデルでは加速が8.5秒となる。200kWの充電器では、10分間で約143マイル（約230km）分を充電可能で、双方向の充電が可能という話もある。
