長さ100m余のお好み焼きでギネス世界記録認定 山口 山陽小野田
山口県山陽小野田市で、お好み焼きの長さでギネス世界記録を目指すイベントが行われ、100メートル余りのお好み焼きを作って世界記録に認定されました。
このイベントは、山陽小野田市の町おこし団体が、主催したもので、県内外からおよそ500人が参加しました。
ギネス世界記録ではこれまでお好み焼きの長さの認定記録はなく、長さ50メートル、幅15センチ以上のお好み焼きを作ってすべて食べ切ることができれば新たに認定されるということになり、会場には100メートルを超える長さの細長い鉄板が用意されました。
鉄板を囲んだ参加者たちは一斉に具材を流し込み、火が通るように厚さを調整して焼き上がるのを待ちました。
そして、お好み焼きができあがるとみんなでおいしそうに食べ、その後、認定員が長さが100メートル57センチでギネス世界記録に認定されたことを発表すると、参加者たちは歓声をあげ喜びあっていました。
親子で参加した宇部市の小学5年の女子児童は「お好み焼きはとてもおいしかったです」と話していました。
また、山口市の大学生は「みんなで1つになって作れて良かったです。もっと大きい記録にも挑戦したい」と話していました。
